The Importance of Customer Service & Trying Things On

As the seasons change, the fashion industry eagerly anticipates the unveiling of the latest trends and styles, and boutique shoppers eagerly await the opportunity to update their wardrobes with the latest offerings.

In the dynamic world of fashion, where trends come and go with the seasons, one fundamental aspect that often gets lost in the shuffle is the significance of trying on clothing before making a purchase.

The fashion industry has evolved significantly in recent years, with the rise of e-commerce and the convenience of online shopping.  While shopping from home is extremely convenient, it has its challenges.  For example, the inability to physically interact with the garments they're considering. For example, the fit will vary based on where the product is sourced.  If I had my way, I would remove all sizes from garments and resize them myself.  There is just no consistency at all from brand to brand.  There’s no way to know how the product will fit or even how it feels. These are key factors when ordering online.  (Not to mention the shipping charges to and from!)  This is why I always tell people to “Try It On.”  Some pieces look completely different on the body than they do on the hanger.   And some pieces are harder to display than others.

A huge benefit of shopping at The Boutique Station is that we are all different sizes, shapes, and ages with unique styles.  We all try on the merchandise so we can tell you how it fits and how it feels.  If you’ve ever shopped with us in the past, you are aware that we quickly catch on to your personal style.  This helps us pull pieces curated just for you.  We love it when we can get people to try on things a little out of their comfort zone.  When you try it on, and we can show you multiple ways to style something and you love it…Well nothing makes us feel better!  We take pride in what we do.  And it shows.

You maybe didn’t know this, but we ship all over the United States.  Somehow people find us in their searches, and we connect over the phone or email.  We can help people we’ve never met find the perfect items as well.  It’s such a satisfying feeling to see someone “lifted up” by simply helping them look and feel their best.  When we ship to you, we split the cost of shipping with you.  I feel like that’s only fair.  And do you know what?  (Knock on wood…)  We’ve never had an online item returned.  How crazy is that?!
