What's New Around Here....You Wouldn't Even Believe It!

What's new at The Boutique Station you ask?  Something new every day! We like to get something new to show you daily or at the very least weekly.  I work hard shopping for quality products that are also affordable. This is no easy task! I'm very particular on fabric content, fit, size-range availability, shipping time and costs, just to name a few. I hand pick every single item brought into the boutique.  I want a selection for every age and every size. This is very important to me. I also like to buy from companies based in the US whenever possible and I like to support companies who give back some of their proceeds to a great cause that I can support.  If I can support another local business, well that's even better.  I'm proud to offer locally made items and local author books as well.

We recently received this review from someone on Google.  We wanted to share it with you and add to the story.

"Not my typical store to be reviewing but to be honest this place is great! We were welcomed in by Sarah and she was freaking awesome! She showed us around, helped us out and even got the kiddos some trinkets.  My wife Jolene left with some new gear as well.  We were in the area geocaching and there happens to be one on this property typically.  After shopping and getting permission, we searched the area with no success.  Sarah even joined in cheering us on.  Turns out the cache was pulled for a recent event and will be replaced soon. (I think this was done intentionally to bring us back!) Not sure I can pull off any of the outfits sold here personally but we will definitely be back.

AS IF THE REVIEW WASN'T ENOUGH....

The Jackson family did come back a couple of weeks later.  Guess who was working...You know it, Sarah!  This time they were able to find the cache and spend time exploring. Before leaving though, they told Sarah that they liked what we did here and how we always looked for ways to give back. They wanted to join in, so they purchased a gift certificate for us to give to someone in need at our discretion.

KINDNESS CULTIVATES KINDNESS

After the Jacksons left, the customer who was shopping at the same time made an additional donation to make the gift even larger.  I feel like the lesson here is that you never know who is watching or paying attention to our actions.  Everything we say or do is a reflection of who we are.  Make sure you are walking the walk.... Don't just talk the talk.

After sharing this story on our weekly Wednesday Facebook LIVE, a customer who has since turned into a friend, messaged me to make a donation from her as well.  It's truly a snowball effect.

THIS IS WHAT WE'RE DOING HERE...

This little boutique out in the middle of nowhere has put the Rushford/Peterson area on the map as a "Fashion Destination".  We don't just sell clothes though; we are a team of women who want to make others feel their very best.  We want to build you up, not tear you down.  We are always looking for more ways to help the community as a whole and make our little corner of the world a better place. We love what we do and that makes this never a "JOB".  This is who we are.  We eat sleep and live to make YOU feel like you deserve to feel. What you see here is genuine love, friendship and compassion. With that being said, we will continue to host events and give back to others who need it.  Retail Therapy isn't about shopping, its building lifelong bonds and forming real friendships.
